I am taking my fiancee out for a special dinner on Valentines Day. I have no idea what to get him. He isn't one of those macho guys, he is loving and affectionate. Any seggestions? Im not a guy, this is his female fiancee... I am just using his name because I used up all my limit to ask questions on mine.

One year when my husband and I were dating, I got a whole bunch of little gifts like massage oil, chocolates, candles, etc., stuck them in a basket, and then labelled them with sayings like "Because I love to touch you" and "Because you're so HOT!" and "Because you're sweet!". You could even go a little naughtier...what the heck?

It show you appreciate him. Take a bunch of things he'll like, throw 'em in a box or basket and label them with cut out paper hearts. Make a bigger heart and attach it to the front of the basket/box.

You could even go a little bit bigger by getting concert tix, gift certificate for his fave restuarant(or one of those IOU a fancy dinner coupons), romantic CDS, some candy, you get the idea. It's something that requires a little thought, but hey, you love him, right?

If he is sensitive kind of guy, does he like poetry? A beautiful book on beautiful poems, a key chain with an inscription, the date you became engaged, a beautiful sculpture of a couple, or of a woman, and have it inscribed.

get him a good book! Maybe one with poetry. Just find out what kind of books he likes! Books are always the perfect gift for any occasion.
