I've been having anxiety attacks lately, and I was wondering how I should deal with it. I need to learn skills on coping with it, and how to try to calm down when they happen and such. I know it helps breathing slowly, but what else helps?

Can you go to that "special place" inside of your head? You know, that place where all is right with the world. For me, I imagine that I am on a beach at dusk with the wind blowing as I sit on the sand and watch the ocean. This is so super peaceful, that just thinking about it usually calms me down. Try it and see what you think. But it has to be YOUR special place. Good luck to you!
