I do indeed think American Idol is hilarious!
How come so many people who cannot sing show up and make fools of themselves on national TV?
I do however like to root for those who really have talent!

I only watch that show when the season starts..I only enjoy watching the really bad performers make fools of themselves..
Once the funny stuff is over, I could care less who is on and who actually gets to be the "Idol" of the year or whatever...

I think it's sooo funny we get it on are cable channels here and i love it. I use to think that the people where only doing it for a laugh but since I've been working with the homeless I have met some people that truely believe they are great singers and dancers and they ain't.

I mean these people must not have REAL friends.... a REAL friend wouldn't let someone as bad a the "red" guy and the others just as bad go on tv for heaven sake!!!
If I was their friend I'd tell them to stop singing even around me.... heck with trying to get on television!
Simon.... he doesn't even have to say anything most of the time... his facial expressions are PRICELESS!

Some of the people are so hideous and ridiculously horrible - i am starting to wonder if those try-outs are for real?? Can those people really think they are good-and simon is just too mean for it to be real....

i know!!! they're so ridiculously bad, it's like the people who produce the show WANT the worst singers to go on- but they put on one, MAYBE two okay singers. then, they pick the not-as-good singer at the end, just to surprise ppl. That's how these stupid shows work. It's so pointless.

I think many of them actually believed they were good. Their cruel parents and friends told them they could sing so they would not break their hearts. Ironically the heart is broken in front of millions and it's funny!
