my nano ipod isnt working correctly. after a while the pictures to the songs get scrambled to the wrong artist. all the settings are correct but it keeps doing it. how do i fix it???????!!!!!!!1

Hmm, ive never herd of this happing before..
I guess you could try the 5 "R's" witch is Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, and Restrore. Just go here:

Its really helpful if you having problems with the ipod. But I dont know if this will work becuase it sounds like the problem is in the libary. Worth a try though :]
Also might wanna try checking how you named the songs/artist/albums and make sure everythings straight.

Maybe you should try to restart it. Here is how you do that:
1st-Toggle the hold switch one or two times
2nd-Press and hold the menu and center button at the same time until the Apple logo appears
