What if the NFL began in January, after the college season ended, and ran through the fall?
Or what if it started in July, and college was changed so it ended in June?

Nah, that is what makes football so great!! Your team only gets 16 games, you see them play once a week. Football cannot be seen 7 days during the season....leaves the fan always wanting more! The other sports could take a lesson....shorten the seasons, leave the fans wanting more!!

I'd love it but being a season ticket holder would probably run me broke. Just like the New Years Eve game fall down the escalator will probably cost me 40 grand in surgeons bills.

dude, think about it... could u play football in 100 degree weather in oakland, arizona, dallas, new orleans, miami, etc.... football will never be year round... unless there was like a minor league of football or something

I think you'd see a lot more deaths on field from exhaustion, and many players suffering from dehydration, besides, it's already been tried..... The USFL......

it should be year round period...but understand that the players are human also and are physically tired if they had to play all year long...well if they were GOOD players...
