It's our fourth anniversary, and I want to go somewhere special. We have 2 kids, so it can't be overnight. We're new to Indy (up by Fishers), and I really don't know the nice places to go.... especially for somewhere unique. HELP! =) (Thanks in advance!)

Check out the SYBARIS. Even just for the afternoon would be a great place to get away for a little romance and out of the cold. We loved it and can't wait to go again.

Lot's of unique places in Broad Ripple and Fishers. We recently visited a place in Fishers called "Fionn Macools." It's an Irish-style pub/restaurant with excellent fish n chips. Not too expensive, either. If you're looking for good Italian, try "Maggianos" on 86th st near Castleton.

I take high profile customers into town all the time for dinner and some experience here.

If you are into seafood, Oceanaire http://www.theoceanaire.com/Indianapolis/ is the best Indianapolis has to offer. It is located in the center of dowtown near the mall and monument circle.

and then i recommend a nice martini bar that is just off the circle, within walking distance, called Nicky Blaines http://www.nickyblaines.com/

I live in Geist and some of our favorite restuarants in the area are St. Elmo's (downtown) and Palomino's. Keystone Grill is awesome. The melting pot is also fun (it's in Castleton) if you don't mind a very drawn-out dinner and Bravo (also in Castleton) is really good. Have fun!!

You might like the children's museum if you make a day of it. They have a great food court or maybe Chuck E Cheese on 82nd St. on your way home?

The city of Indianapolis is primarily a lazy black ghetto. I wouldn't recommend going there.
