Is it possible, or could it be possible in the future to freeze a sound or light wave?

No the wave nature means that if they stop, they are gone. It is possible to slow light to extremely low speeds in a Bose-Einstein condensate.

Misfire can occur when a plug. Lead or faulty coil shows itsekf. We can also get a misfire if a cylinder ha a head gasket leak into a cylinder allowing enough water ingress to short plug firing. Check we dont have water loss? Water in oil? Oil in water? If we cure leak we may cure misfire, especially if its shorting plug or lead with anti freeze.

No it isn't possible to freeze light. Sound can not be frozen either.

light and sound is the movement of energy in the atomshpere, so no. sound is cause when eregy cause atoms to move in a wave like motion

NO! Both travel in waves. If there is no wavelength, i.e. not moving or frozen, then they cease to exist.
