Brokeback Mountain is a love story...complex and all-too common. Two handsome, virile men are in passionate love with each other. They know that their love is not socially acceptable, but they can't resist themselves. They know that hiding it from the world is painful, and find there is no way they will ever be happy without each other. They have women in their lives, and agonize over living secret lives. It is a tragic tale, and is worth a look!

"Brokeback Mountain" is an instant classic according to the high-class movie critics and whatever else they are in Hollywood. The movie is about two gay cowboys who can't contain their love for each other. It is one of the most politically correct movies you could see nowadays because the main theme is "tolerance of gays." I personally recommend not seeing it, because putting money towards that movie is like saying it's okay to be gay. However I HIGHLY recommend renting "The Notebook."

When two people love each other with a forbidden love there is going to be a lot of heartache on both sides. It's like Romeo and Juliet with the stink of cattle and sheep dung, in a way.

i love this flick, and I am hetero married woman, but it is a love story set in the 60's about 2 men who work all summer alone in the mountains tending sheep for a farmer and things happen. in my opinion, very hot quick love scene between them, c'mon its Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal for pete's sake. They try to live normal lives, marriage, kids, but they can't give each other up and continue meeting for years and years. I think its a good flick if you like romance movies and aren't homophobic.

It is a film based on the love between two men. It is also an incredible movie just for the cinematography. I recommend this movie If you don't mind sex scenes between two men.
