I am currently enrolled in an online accounting program to obtain my bachelors degree in accounting. I'm curious as to whether or not a person can attend 2 different schools at the same time. While still attending my school, I wanted to know if I could apply to another to obtain an accounting diploma online. I just thought it might further my career to have as much training as possible, but I didn't know if you could actually do this or not. Any advice would be appreciated.

Most employers consider online degrees to be worthless -- so having two won't help you very much. That being said -- I doubt that you would be turned down if you apply. Most of the online universities are For Profit schools that accept nearly everyone. This is one of the reason their degrees are not taken seriously. Another is their shady practices. The University of Phoenix was recently fined $9.8MM for shady employment practices and is currently under investigation for padding their placement numbers.

You would be much better off getting one degree at a real university.

Many accredited, brick and mortar universities off distance learning degrees.

Baker College out of Michigan offers on-line degree options.

Check them out at www.baker.edu

Very affordable at about $180 per credit hour.

4 semesters per year, 2 6-week sessions per semester.

Easy format if you like reading e-mails and blogs.

However, at only 6 weeks, pace is fast and significant assignments per week.

It depends.....

The "new" program will look at your transcript. As long as you are up front and honest - you have to show "work in progress".

Ask the program coordinator for the specific's

good luck
