Why is the media making such a big deal out of "the first black coach to go to the superbowl"? WHO CARES?!

i think it is great for african americans and they should be proud./...buuut i wish that america could unite and not even notice. not knocking on african americans at all....im just saying that it would be great if we could just unite...ya know???

Dude, it is history and everybody that is old cares. I mean they had some though times when things were thougher for the black man and they want to say that they have finally beaten the white man. I mean it's defenitly better then rooting for a city instead of an actual team(New Orleans Saints). But I agree with you, big deal dude. If people always say that the color of your skin doesn't matter, then this should be the same. He's a coach, not a black coach dude.

I hear ya bro...who cares?!?! I thought judging people by their race was a thing of the past. I guess not, the media continues to bring it up...coaching vacancies, coaching firings, coaches in the super bowl, QBs, etc....enough already!!! The best person will get the job and in this case get the job done! Has nothing to do with race!!

Because its a historical first for african americans. It's like if they refused to give people in your family a chance to prove themselves, basically believeing you were incompetent because of how you look. Now finally, someone in your family get to the biggest level of his profession for the first time.
