You will need to call a professional carpet cleaner to come out. They have the chemicals to clean and disinfect the carpeting. If you clean it yourself, you will not get all of it out causing bacteria to grow. Be sure to tell the cleaner what chemicals you have put on the spot, allot of times these solutions, especially when used together set the stain in.

My son and my youngest twin just go over the stomach bug. Try oxiclean mixed with water and a brush soak the carpet with it, where it would take a day or more to dry. Brush good then soak up with a towel or two and put a fan on it to help dry faster, if it still stinky after that you may have to replace the padding underneath

According to "Creationist" logical thought, if you come upon a pile of bricks, with a single river peeble perched on top, the bricks (which can be described VERY simply as blocks of natural clay that are 2in X 3in X 6in) must be assumed to be "natural occurences", whereas the river pebble (which requires complex calculus to accurately describe its shape) must be the consequence of an "Intelligent Designer"!
