Quit. You stand more to gain than lose by quitting. Cheerleading is not supposed to feel like a burden. Focus on your grades. You'll be amazed at how free you'll fee!!

I was a cheerleader in high school too(I'm gradutating from college now). I left it my senior year because I was in a similar situation to yours...except not so much the bad grades. I left it like a few months before a graduated and I didn't regret it. I think you almost have your mind set and you will use the time to do things that you really want to do. In my opinion you should go for it and do things that you miss. Talk to on of your close friends about it but don't let anyone tell you what to do. Deep down you know if it's the right choice.

We all make commitments in life and while it is essential to fulfill our commitments sometimes we have to be a little selfish about our time. Now you are the only one who can weigh that. You have friends on your squad and you need to ask if you will be letting them down or can they manage without you? Do not allow fear to ever make decisions for you. Decide what is best for you and then work out the ride issue independently with a BF, or another family member or friend. Make a list of things you want to do and the things that you like most about cheerleading, and after you finish your list decide what is best based on reality. You only live once. This may be the last time you will have to build that bond with another or restore a friendship or to do something you have always wanted to do..like write on the school newspaper. So do not ask anyone what you should do. You make a list, you evaluate that list and then you make a plan and work that plan. Fear and worry about what others will think should not influence your decision. Life will demand we let somethings go that we want in order to gain something else that we also desire orthat is important for us to do and we must be prepared to make those calls. Good luck with this on.

if you are truly tired of it then i would quit. if it's more of a chore than it is fun for you than that's a pretty good sign you want to move on. or since it's only a month left you could just stick it out. the decision is ultimately up to you. not to mention your grades are much more important than cheering! having bad grades can make a huge difference on whether or not you get into a decent school and when you go to get a job they look at what school you graduate from whether they should or not. that's just the way it is.

I don't think that you should, maybe it is not cheerleading that is taking so much time you should just start planning ahead a try not to wait tell the last min to do anything but like if you are not doing anything try to do your homework and friends you should have friends on the cheer squad and those days that your not cheering you can get together. but i think that you can stick to one more month!

Sounds like you have had enough of the cheerleading game. Quit and let someone else take over so that you can put your time into your schooling. You'll be taking a lot of good memories away with you anyway.

If you dont like cheering anymore and it is affecting your grades then you should quit, but if you like doing it, you should keep doing it, but work on time management. You can always do cheerleading later in life if you quit or if you stay. Just do what your heart tells you to do. Good luck!

I would quit if you are getting tired of cheerleading and if you want to improve your grades. Since this is your last year, try to have fun doing things that you like to do.
