The smell is sulfur in your water. To get the smell out you could try a filtration system. This is very expensive to start and you have to at least twice a year$$$. I had sulfur in the water and found out I was allergic and bed ridden for two weeks. We had to move.

A rotten egg smell usually indicates sulphur in the water supply. If that is the case, there is nothing you can do about it, except possibly install a water purifier. If the smell is something recent, and not just what you've had all along, then you need to check your water source and find out if something has gotten into the system.

Move.
You have sulphur water and the only way to get rid of that smell is to install a water purifcation system. Contact a water specialist in your area (Culligan is a good place to start)
I lived in a place that had really bad water and I checked out a purification system and it was going to cost me about $3000.
Good Luck.

Is the smell from your water ? where do you live? if on a well system then you have water possibly passing through a sulfurous rock that will give bad smell storing water in open tank allows the gas to dissipate if you in a city then the smell is possibly coming from your drains.. keep them filled with water. if they keep emptying then you possibly have a blocked sewer vent.

Ahhh....you must live in Hanford!
High sulfur content...you've got to either 1) use bottled water or 2) put a heavy duty filter on your home.
