Has anhyone been through this b4 who can give me feedback? I comeback from my maternity leave to find out my co-worker in my dep is having sex in our office w/the married boss ("Christian" married for about 6 mos-I was at his wedding) & she is also screwing around w/the janitor-that part I really don't care about. I know it is none of my bus and I carry on w/my job none the less, but it bothers me when my boss puts up a front and says neg things about her. It also gets to me when she doesn't have a care in the world if her work is inaccurate. It's just weird to come back to such a unethical work place environment. The reason I know about this is because my co-worker told me & seemed to be proud of it. The other issue I have is that the janitor (who is also married) & my boss talk about how all men are pigs. My co-worker says "all men cheat". It seems that people say that to justify their actions. I'm happly married. I would never group my hubby with with the likes of that scum

If I was you I think I'd consider looking for another job. I think it would be very difficult to work in a place like that. Why would anyone want to work with people with such low morals?

All men do not cheat. I'm happy to hear you defended your husband, women who talk about men so negatively probably never met a decent man because of their attitude.

Do yourself a favor and look someplace better to work, you deserve to be around "normal" people! Good luck to you.

I have worked in the food industry and education...and yes, I have known of some co-workers "having affairs" within the workplace...People that do this are unhappy with their current relationships...there will always be a "someone" to hook-up with...just about anywhere you work...After reading your question...my first thought was to tell your "loose" co-worker that you heard through the grapevine that the boss' & janitors' wives have access to the hidden security cameras...but, then she may enjoy knowing she has "celebrity status"...I agree that it is unethical to "carry on" like that in the workplace...makes for a uncomfortable working environment...I would firmly tell your boss and co-worker that it is "non of my business what the "3" of them are doing...nor are you interested in hearing about it"...this way they will have to deal with their "sex triangle"...If things don't "calm down"...it might be a good idea to find another job placement in a different department...

It is a little known fact but most places of employment have "ethics" committees or at least rules and regulations that pertain to such. Your co-worker is wrong in her "all men cheat" however she can wind up loosing her job of this if she is ever found out. Her boss isn't going to take the heat if he is discovered and will blame her for it, and she will be out on her butt extremely fast. Also this will follow her if she attempts to gain employment elsewhere as prospective employers DO do background checks and they DO check former employers and once they find out about her "indesgretions" they won't be interested in hiring her for anything that cleaning the toilets. I'm not telling you what to do but you might want to alert HR as to what is going on.

Sounds like an interesting work place environment! Sheesh, that woman couldn't have time to work if she is so busy screwing the boss and the janitor....her taste is very eclectic!

I am sure this happens in many work environments. Just hope they don't screw on your desk after hours and try to stay out of it. Avoid the break room, do your job, and go home to your husband.

If you want to stay with your current job report it as being unethical to the person in charge of the company or find a new job and get the hell out of there.
