I have pics of my kids' butts. They were taken at Sears. I have seen them taken at the picture people and JC penny's as well.
I must of been lucky because I get my kids' pictures developed at Sam's Club and they never turn me in for bathtub pics. Oh, and if you go to Kodak.com they will develop pics for you too.

I think everyone takes those "nuddy" pics of their babies!! I know I did and did not ever get into trouble. I have also seen professional photos with the mother in all white and she is holding her naked baby...those are everywhere.

I think when the pictures are suggestive or show any harm being done are the ones that need to be reported by photo labs.

If it was illegal I don't think there would be too many parents that have not broken the law!!

It is not illegal up to one year old. I'm pretty sure that is the concensus in all fifty states. Once the baby is a year old, it is illegal. In fact, the picture can't even look like the baby is naked after one year. Unfortunately, that's what it has had to come to.

I would say it now depends on HOW the pictures are taken .
I have not seen a parent yet who dosen't love to see their cute little butts and chubby legs in a nude photo and I feel sickend that we now have to worry that it may be pornographic.........
No.it is NOT illegal or strange if you ttake it in a shot while baithing and or changing diapers as babies usually giggle so much when that happens and it is nature ,,not porno........Just do not put them on a big screen at your child's wedding in the future.....LMAO.They will kill you.........haha

I have actually had my three month old sons picture taken by a proffessional while he was naked...I dont think there is a problem with it as its a memory to you, just as long as you keep it that way.

And plus its good to embarress them with it at their 21st :)

It is not illegal to take pics of your naked baby... especially if your child was just born.. they don't come out wearing a diaper ya know?! It is illegal if you are to post them online though... they are great for you and your family.. but I wouldn't put them online.

Believe it or not, some people have gotten in trouble for baby nudes. You have to watch where you take them to get them developed. People will turn you into social services for it. I heard of a grandmother getting in trouble for that. She was devastated.
