Install Apple's iTunes which works with iPod.

You can rip your cds into this player for free, or if you already have mp3s on your computer, just drag the folder they're in to the iTunes library section.

You can also download songs from the Apple (Music) Store for 99 cents each, or $9.99 for a whole album. It will automatically store them and sync them to you iPod.

First of all, have your iPod connected to the computer and have iTunes open.
*** BUYING MUSIC FROM ITUNES: Go the the iTunes store and click the 'Buy Song' button. The song will download into your iTunes library, then you can click and drag the songs into your iPod through iTunes. *** FROM A CD: Insert the CD and copy the songs to iTunes. Then drag and drop into your iPod.

You copy your CDs to your hard drive on your computer. Then you use iTunes to sync everything to your iPod.

You can pay for additional music through the iTunes store where you then download the songs to your PC at $.99 a song. You can also download music for free using KCEasy, Kazaa Lite Resurrection, Limewire, or something like that.

First you have to go to www.itunes.com
then you have to download itunes (its completely free)
then you have to buy or download the songs you want
and itunes will show a pop up saying theres new music files on your computer and if u want to add them to your itunes library...
so when ever you plug in your ipod the songs will automatically load onto your ipod. its very simple
