If the switch is on high, the heater blower works great. Unfortunately, the blower does not operate on the other speed settings. Is it the switch, resistor or the blower that is failing? Does anyone else have experience with this problem? I have a good idea where the blower motor is located, but I have no idea where the resistor is located. Any information is appreciated.

Blower motor resistor pack has burned out element or a burned out thermal fuse.. It is inside the duct-work usually close to the blower motor. It could be in either the motor or passenger compartment. The portion you will be able to see will be about
2 1/2" by 3 1/2" plate held in place by a couple of screws and have several wires plugged to it... Sorry I can't be more specific about location.. About $20 at auto parts store....Good Luck...

the resistor for the blower motor is located on the passenger side, below the glove box with a wire connector going to it...should be mounted on the duct work for the blower motor..the resistor is in view, without removing anything...you just have to lget down in the floor and look up...
