or do you think I will regret it in time?

If you're getting one because you think it'll be cute or just for the sake of having one, I wouldn't do it. If you're questioning yourself then it's not worth wating your money on something you're unsure about. Gravity WILL set in regardless where you get it.

However if you're thinking of getting a tattoo of something that holds meaning to you, maybe you'll be able to overlook how it will someday look and focus on the real meaning behind it. Bear in mind that they are expensive to have done and they are around ten times as expensive to remove, and often require multiple removal sessions which are painful.

If you are going to get a tattoo..make sure it is something that will always mean a lot to you..it doesnt matter what others think..I got a tweety bird tattoo for my dad..and then i got the red sox tattoo after they won the world series..I was 36 yrs old for the first and 41 for the second..lol...i will always love both of them and have no regrets..just make sure you have a strong conviction about what you want to get..i would not get a boyfriend or husband put on but would get my children...

It really is a personal choice. But, I have had mine for about five years and have never regretted it. I'm actually overdue for my second one. Just make sure that you pick or design one that means something to you and that you choose its location with thought.

As for an old and wrinkly tattoo, who cares. You'll enjoy it then as much as you will now.

When I was living through the Hippie Movement (through it---------not IN it) I thought a long time about maybe just a flowered ring around a ring finger and I could wear a REAL ring over it when I got older if I changed. Well, I got older. I changed. Thank GOD I didn't get a tattoo that I have to worry about covering up now because I have ENOUGH things to worry about!!! (But you do what you think best Honey, cause it's your body, isn't it?) Good Luck!!! @8-)

Do you want one? Really, really want one? If yes then get one. If you can't answer that question then don't get one, you will regret it.

If you live long enough you will eventually regret everything, including living long enough to regret everything.

You may regret it. Just think of how it will look as you get older. Have you ever seen a tat on an old person. It's not very pretty.

Imagine the tattoo stretched and wrinkled, and that will answer your question about regretting it in time.

My sister is a nurse and one of her patients was over 70 years old. This patient had little bunny tracks tatooed all the way up her leg, going into her crack. With all those wrinkles and stuff! Definitely not pretty.
