Actually to correct the previous poster the smallest mass a black hole can have is a Plank mass, roughly, 2.176 Ã 10-8 kg, not very large. And yes the Large Hadron Collider will be able to produce MATHEMATICALLY similar phenomenon to a black hole, not actually black holes. The particle collisions will have effects similar to those seen in real black holes, but are infinitesimally short lived, and couldn't destroy the world, no matter the bs you've seen floating around. To actually create a real black hole of the smallest mass, a Plank mass, would require a particle accelerator several light-years long to attain the required velocity with the particle masses involved.

No, It's a Universe thing on a bigger scale then that. A much greater vacuum warp in space.( Don't be fooled by Sci-Fi movies and Hollywood and political actors ) You would have to control the bigger picture to create a black hole across the Galaxy. In other words there are no machines that can create a black hole in space.

Probably not. A black hole depends on a huge mass, at least 15 times the size of the sun.
Experiments have created the density of a black hole but without massive gravity it will fall apart rapidly.

Yes, very possible. Out on the island of Hawaii, there is a test center of space technologies. The workers there have been trying to discover the mysteries of the black hole. Soon, if the power is right, they might be able to create one. But, with to much power, it will grow bigger and will actually destroy the whole Earth. I really hope that they don't!

A black hole contains a force that once you are in it, you cannot get out. The force is usually gravitational, where the matter is so high in density and mass, everything becomes "sucked" towards it. For humans to somehow create matter with this high of density is almost improbable. The answer right now, with our technology, is no.

a black hole is a star with density so great that light for example
can't reach escape velocity. if humans created a black hole
it would stretch all of us out from the event horizon to point
where the mass retreated to. I would say that humans would
have to travel far away to attempt that experiment.

...theoretically...by overloading a star with fuel to the point of explosion>>>first, there is an explosion, followed by a "black hole implosion"...
(similar to the effects of a sinking ship- as it sinks below, it pulls what is behind like a vacuum)
