from europe=zenadine zidane. from south america=ronaldinho. from england=paul gascoigne. from scotland=ally mccoist. from wales=ryan giggs. from ireland=roy keane. these are in my opinion the best players from their respective countries in the last twenty years. overall best=ronaldinho...and for trinity06-the questioner said "of these twenty last years" that is to say from 1987 to the present day. so the poster is correct in their decision for ronaldinho.
