No, I carry a cd player mainly because I'm introverted and don't like the fact that I'm a young male shopping by myself draws attention to me. I've been constantly bombarded by statements like "Shopping for your mommy are you? How nice!" or "In college? First time out?" and it's annoying. So I listen to music instead of idiots. I also make sure I don't block aisles for other people.

i work in a grocery store and it positively amazes me how many people will shop by cell phone with someone..for god sake if you dont know what you want before you leave the house...it seems to me the issue is a bit more dire than groceries.

no why in the world would that be sad. if somebody wants to listen to their music while grocery shopping then so be it. it beats having to listening to the corny music they be playing at the grocery store.

yes, i also find it really annoying
if u r standing behind someone and their kart is blocking the way, u ask them politely to move but they can't hear u! its really annoying!
