OK, so I've just left high school having scored mostly Cs in my Higher exams (or "final exams" if you're a yank") and now ,NOW I decide I want to become a doctor. I didn't score that low on my exams because I'm stupid, I was just lazy, but now I've figured out what I want to do I'm willing to do almost anything to achieve it, can I retake the exams somehow?, or do medical schools need you to have five As in one sitting?

Yes, I have the time and I listened to your long-winded story. It sounds very much like Aesop's fable about the Ant and the Grasshopper. Since I am a Yank, I am sorry that I can't answer your question, but you could ask the powers that be.
