help i need to create a song without lyrics just a good beat.i have a guitar any easy chord progressions you can think of?

Try listening to the backing chords on songs you like and use them and use them to base your ideas on, I'd begin and end on a C or a G chord.

Well, you can always just play what comes...whatever your fingers want to do, but that doesn't always end up sounding so well. If you're looking for beat in the truest sense of the word, that's not what a guitar does. Beat is the percussion's job. Guitar comes in with melody or harmony.

I know thousands of good chord progressions...
Pick one or two...
G Em C D7 -> G
for one
IF you know chords, TRY them one after the other... Base them on 1 - 4 - 5(7) mainly.

use your feet and hands...maybe some spoons and then use that first. Of course you can use the old standard of using your guitar as a club to find it...Though that usually ends with one setting fire to said guitar and fanning the flames...So the last one is not recommended...and using clean spoons.
