No way you can drop Yao Ming. He'll definitely get picked up.
I would, however, use him in a trade for another C eligible player to fill in. Look at other people's roster and see who has a center to spare. Offer trades (better than dropping him outright) for maybe Ben Wallace, Shaq, Camby, Bogut. At least you'll get performers instead of 2pt, 8 reb people like the other 3 you mentioned

Dont drop him no matter what. As soon as he comes back trade him if you arent past the trade deadline yet. You will get better players once he is back playing. About your current situation, see if you can trade a guard i would do it. Get a good big man then trade yao for a guard(see how that works).

Dude, I am struggling with this same dilema. I have been researching every possible injury report, and have seem estimates from late Feb to late March. If it is late March, we have a disaster on our hands. The wasted bench spot starts to hurt after a while. I am trying to get Kirlenko for him.

There is no way you can drop or trade him. He should be back in a couple of weeks. He is one of the best fantasy big guys out there this year.

pick up Mutumbo and keep Yao, he should be back next month, that way you have the Hou C position covered
