I used to really dig Evanescence but it was a long time ago (like before they blew up). I went to see them in Boise in the early spring of '02 or '03 (can't remember). I bought one of there Fallen CD's that was in distribution when they were still moving their own gear (it's got a silk screened label but you can see the burn tracks on the play side where it was copied in a low end duplicator).
I could easily give you three songs that were not on a major release (demos, B-sides and imports) but there was a problem for me. They blew up. If everyone in the world likes them, it's time for me to move on. My daughter is nine now. She still wears the shirt I got at the concert as a nighty. I'm more of a Killswitch Engage guy now (but I kinda dig FlyLeaf too).

I'm not a die hard fan or anything... Amy Lee is really really pretty and she has an awesome voice. I really really like their new song Snow White Queen, it's really pretty. A few others off their newest CD I like are The Last Song I'm Wasting on You, and The Only One. Before The Dawn and Forever Gone, Forever You are good as well. Wow come to think of it, maybe I do like them. haha.

Evanescence is horrible. All they sing are sad sappy songs. I don't even like them and I can name 3. Lithium, call me when your sober, my immortal. Guess what, every one of them sound the same.

LOVE Evanescence. I think she is beautiful, and her voice is great. 3 songs? EASY. My 3 favs... Tourniquet....Lithium.. and...their cover of Heart Shaped Box.. and Call me when you're Sober. Is that proof enough?
