sure...

Make sure your iPod is fully charged and then toggle the Hold switch on and off.

If it is a Click wheel iPod (iPod video, iPod Photo, iPod w/ Clickwheel, All Nano, All Mini), Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

If you have a shuffle, (the new one, the silver one),
Remove iPod shuffle from the dock (if connected).
Move the power switch on the bottom of iPod shuffle to the off position.
Wait 5 seconds.
Move the power switch to the "on" position. The green stripe will be visible.

If you have the old shuffle (the stick), Disconnect iPod shuffle from the computer (if connected).
Move the switch on the back of iPod shuffle to the off position.
Tip: When iPod shuffle is off, the green stripe by the switch is not visible.
Wait 5 seconds.
Move the switch on the back to the play in order or the shuffle position. The green stripe will be visible in either position.

If you have an old iPod without a clickwheel, Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons until the Apple/iPod logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Good Luck

You need to flick your hold switch back and forth a few times on the top of the iPod. Make sure it doesn't show any orange when your done. (3 or 4 times) Then press and hold the menu and center (select) button for about 10 seconds or so until the apple logo appears. Then let go of the buttons and it should restart fine. If this doesn't resolve your issue, take your iPod and plug it into your computer. It will need to be "restored" by iTunes through the Summary tab. Then you can reload all of your content onto your iPod. Let me know if this works.
