i am a darkskinned spanish italian person and i have a dark moustache. It's not heavy its like peachfuzz, but i am also getting hair on mmy chin andother places on my face. Im 14 years old and my mom wont let me shave. I really want a girlfriend but girls dont like my mustache. My mom doesnt want me to shave b.c all they guy friends she asked said that i should wait because it gets annoying doing it everyday and stuff. Dont tell me to ask my dad b/c i dont have a dad. I really dont like it, the girls tell me how much i should shave and it feels really embarrassing. also what age did you guys start shaving?

I was 11 the first time I had to shave(early bloomer here) but even when you start you don't have to do it every day, just whenever you want to. I hardly ever shave even though I should everyday. but your mom isn't a guy and bottomline is that men need to do this and you should be able to start when you want. its your face.

im 16 now (10th grade)
i originally started shaving when i was in 8th grade (14)
i had dark dark peach fuzz like you on my upper lip and on my chin and from my sideburns going midway down the cheek...i used an electric razor there for about a year when i realized it was giving me acne (ingrowns) so i decided to switch over to a razor
now i shave every morning...before i started shaving i thought about how it would be a pain in the *** shaving every morning and how annyoing it must be. but, if you shower before school its really not that bad and to tell you the truth you get used to it...took me like 2 months to get used to it
and tell your mom (no offense to her) that you don't feel comftorable with hair on your face and that she shouldnt tell you you cant shave

just shave it off one day. so what- she will be mad at you for a few hours- maybe a day. After that, it will be in the past. That was what I did when I was in the 5th grade and wanted to start shaving my legs and my mom told me I was too young. I went into the bathroom and was sitting next to the tub and started to shave my legs. My mom walked in on me but she didn't get upset, she just showed me how to do it so that I wouldn't cut myself... I think she probably just realized that it was something that I really wanted to do and realized that I was so embarrassed about it around the other girls that I was willing to chance her getting upset with me.

im 18 now, and i started shaving when i was 15 and my mom said the exact same thing as yours. When I did start shaving, she didnt even notice. It gets annoying to have to shave every day, and i reccomend waiting till you absolutely have to before doing it.

These girls you claim that say they don't like your moustache are too immature.

tell your mom she can go.....
it's YOUR mustache, tell her to ge over it-that the kids at your school think your an idiot...even if you aren't
or that it bothers you and you have to shave it off....my best advice is to just shave it off without asking

Your mom can't tell you what to do with your face. I guess you look like your dad with your facial hair when it grows in. Ask your mom about your dad's facial hair.
