Even though I'm not fond of the show...I did like some of the clashes and characters...in particular Shane and Carmen. I would probably identify most with Shane though. What do other girls think of it?

I do not watch it, but my girlfriend does. I have a hard time watching something that is about sexuality only. But just my view.

I love the l word. But wasn't a big fan of season 3 to be perfectly honest. I identify more with Carmen. I love Shane shes so effin hot and Alice is my fav character.

I love the show. I'm not sure if I really identify with any of the characters that much, but my favorites are Shane and Alice.

I actually haven't watched The L Word, mainly because I don't get Showtime. But to be quite honest, I haven't had much of a desire to watch it, either, since I realized that there were very few butches on there, and I don't have a real desire to watch femmes and androgynes. I was curious when Moira came onto the scene, and even more amazed, when she started to transition to Max, but I hear that the show botched a good portrayal of FtM transsexuality, so I'm back where I started- mildly intrigued, but not really caring too much.

I love Alice (and loved her with Dana....we miss her a lot), and really like Shane as well (she has her humorous moments). We really enjoy the whole show. Jenny and Max are pretty strange characters....don't always know what to make of them.

Honestly I would have to say I don't like what I have seen. I think it is too much about what woman is doing what woman. Also they don't have many women that look like real women {real women have curves} I have been looking forward to seeing miss Shepperd on there. So I am going to give it another try.

I love the L Word... I WAS NOT happy they killed off Dana :-(
She was one of my favortie characters. I started watching the show cause Jennifer Beals was in it. (at the time I only knew who Jennifer was and have liked her other movies and I had just seen Erin Daniels in "One Hour Photo")
I like Alice, Dana *sniffs*, Shane and Helena :-)

I LOVE The L word. I think that Jenny is nuts, they shouldn't have made Bette and Tina break up, they shouldn't have killed off Dana, and Alice is my favorite because she is so freaking funny.

I think that the L word is a show that is like FUBU. For Us, By Us. And I love every minute, I think they need to get rid of one of the cast though - Jenny. I think that Jenny's profile is over the top and shows lesbians as being a mental problem.

Regretfully, I got hooked but got really pissed off when the tennis pro died. I wish the characters were more realistic- instead of bombshells.
