I threw up a lot about a week ago and some blood vessels in my eye burst. It looks really scary, and they still haven't gone away in a week. Is there anything at all i can do?

This is called a subconjuctival hemmorhage and depending on how much blood leaked out into the conjuctivia dictates how long it will take to heal not to mention your own body's ability to heal.
I got the crap beat out of me by my ex-husband and the conjuctivia of both of my eyes was beet red for about 2 1/2 months before they cleared up and looked white again.
No one can tell you exactlly just how long it will take but before you know it,you will have white conjuctivia again.

Sorry you got this sick.

I know someone that had that, and it only took about 5 days for them to go away. Perhaps if they've lasted that long you should see a dr.

If there's any yellowing in the area that means the blood is being broken down and the blood will be gone soon

I had a broken blood vessel in my right eye a few years back, when I went to the ER they found that I had a severe inner ear infection. In a couple days my eye was back to normal.

Put warm packs on your eyes. I used this on my cats, and I used this on my child when she got bumped in the eye in the swimming pool. Also the eye doctor might have some drops for it too.

Be patient. Take some aspirin to thin out your blood (with food please) and up your fluids. These things take about as long as bruise to go away, approximately 10 days. Godloveya.

I had this happen to me once. It was caused by a sneeze. It took about 2 weeks to go away.
