Nilo = wrong.

Golgi apparatus effectively modifies macromolecules synthesized by the ER before transporting them (via vacuoles) to their respective locations.

1) B - While white blood cells do secrete a few microbial antagonizers (really just consists of highly oxidizing agents - supraoxide ions, hydrogen peroxide, etc) by a process called respiratory burst, they aren't traditionally considered antibiotic substances. White blood cells generally perform their immune function through phagocytosis of invading pathogens. As such, large numbers of lysosomes are required to degrade the pathogens so as to shunt the infection.

3) B microtubules.

4) B - probably the best answer. I think they're just fashioning the question to highlight photosynthesis as an inherent feature of plant cell metabolism. No chloroplasts = no photosynthesis = no oxygen produced.

5) C - bone marrow. The spleen is a repository for blood and the center of red blood cell degradation. Thyroid gland produces essential metabolic hormones and hormones that regulate calcium levels. Thymus gland matures T lymphocytes (white blood cells), however they are not produced here. Lymph nodes filter the substance known as "lymph" by scrounging for bacteria and other intruders. Essentially allows the body a second chance at detecting invasive agents (the first would be the blood). All white blood cells originate from the pluripotent stem cells of the bone marrow.

1. The golgi apparatus transports materials out of the cell and it also stores and packages protein molecules

d)their natural synthesis of antibiotic like substances

2. nucleolus- Manufactures ribosomes
ribosomes- Produce protein
vacuole- Store materials like protein, food,etc.

3. microtubules

4. doesn't take in food because the chloroplast is important in the process of photosynthesis and that is their food. But b is also correct but my mom said that my answer is more correct because a plant that can't produce food can't produce oxygen either.

5. lymph nodes

pretty sure about the rest

person down is defenitely wrong
