No...but it is illegal for them to have sex. Then it would be statutory rape and the 18 year old could go to jail.

Yes, the limit is 17 if you're 14. When you're 16 and 17 the limit goes up to 24 I believe. The best way to know is to ask your local sherriff dept and they'll let you know for sure. The laws could vary depending on your area. Of course no one would know and rat you out if you don't say anything and your parents are cool with it. It happens everday. Just because he's older doesn't mean a cop is going to stop and ask him for ID unless you get pregnant. The biggest obstacle would be the parents.

I'm 15, dating a 20 year old. I think that age is just a number, it's all about the maturity levels.. However my boyfriend and I are fighting right now about the whole age difference issue and I can tell ya, it's taking alot out of me. Don't get too involved unless you're prepared for the consequences. And also, dating an older guy, be prepared to be pressured for sex. .. not always, but older men usually expect that out of relationships. be careful. good luck

well according to ohio laws..thier is a 5 year spand between the 2..for ex it starts at age 12 can date 17 13 can date 18 as long that the person said it was concentual.and anything over the age of 16 u can date a 50year old if u want.and i see nothing wrong with it as long as they are mature about everything and both parants are aware of the realastionship.

Techinacally if they do nothing more than "date" its not illegal. But if it goes into more like kissing, touching, and sex, then Yes its illegal. At the age of 18 you are considered an adult, and 14 is a minor. So it then goes into molestation and statitory rape. The older person can face jail time and is considered a sexual preditor and put onto the sex offenders list for that state.

belive me it's illegal.........but so what my friend is 15 and is going out with a 20 almost 21 year old since she was 14. (and yes u will be pressured into having sex if u date an older guy)

It depends on state laws what age constitutes statutory rape. Usually it is 16. Why would an 18 yr old want to date a 14 yr.old?
