Someone recently told me I was his "madonna". I think it has to do with soulmate?? What exactly does this term refer to?

The Madonna is the mother of Christ. Therefore it can refer to someone who is a Mother.
It's also a trashy popstar from the 80s, so maybe he meant it that way.
Soulmate it does not mean.

Obviously he's using it metaphorically.
Madonna means the Virgin Mary, which of course you are not.
But perhaps your like the Virgin Mary in many ways and that's why he calls you as such.
It does not mean soulmate, not even in metaphoric manner.
