I'm in Sheffield UK [for american visitors], and we had 2" snow this evening, But guess what, the gritters heve'nt been out and it's going to turn to ice[once again]. Do the gritters sit on their backside drinking tea, when the forcast is snow? Who else has had it worse in the UK.?

We had a couple inches today in Minnesota. Our gritters, as you call them, are on top of things here. The one time they didn't I was all over it, as the kids were on the curbs. No complaining here, we could use a lot more snow for the farmers come spring.
