well if u want my advice. Mostly I'm on stage a LOT.Well mostly in my school and on my concerts for violin. Anyways I take 3deep breathes abut slowly and then it calms me and I don't really look at the audience but mostly at the end I do because one day I did look at the audience and I froze so do NOT look at the audince.

Maybe you should try to act in front of some friends then more. Try and talk a lot more then you do and try talking to different people. This will boost your self esteem and make you more out going. Join more club activities so you can socialize more. Good Luck!

i am just like you! when i talk in front of the class i stutter and get nervous,, but its like weird b/c i am relatively loud during class, so i gget wat u r going through. wat i do it just go along with it. u no that everyone else in the class is nervous about something in their life, and if u mess up i doubt that they will mock u or like act mad at you. like seriously, how many poeple in the class actually listen to teh presentation that is given? none, i mean i like never even listen!!! so how r u gonna act? practice, practice in the miirror until u got ur lines down and are as confident as can be, then practice in front of your friends or parents. i wish u the best of luck and i no wat u r going through!!

before you step on stage say to yourself, "If they are not nervous, then why should I be?" You might also want to try lowly humming to yourself in different tones, it's very relaxing. You can also just close your eyes as you perform.
