im playing x box on live, how come it wont let me talk to the person?

i have a head set and its hooked in and everything. But sometimes when im even in a lobby it'll say your privillages don't allow you to communicate?...why is this?

It might be the game you're playing. The host of some video games can prevent people from talking.

my cusin had the same promblem make sure game is headset compatible
if it is just check your cords and game settings
