Assuming that this is a trapezoid (you can only have medians with quadrilaterals with parallel sides or with triangles, but since you list two sides and the sides aren't the same, I'm assuming that this is a trapezoid), then by definition the median is the average of the two sides. So add the two and take half, and set it equal to 60:

0.5 * (6x + 11 + 4x - 1) = 60
0.5 * (10x + 10) = 60
5x + 5 = 60
5x = 55
x = 11
