i am 28 years old..and i love the layered rocker look..do u think i am too old to dress this way..and if im not..what are some good things to buy to add to my wardrobe

You definitely need some simple basics. Try some of the examples below for ideas. You can still mix your rocker look into classics, to make rocker-chic. Try button down shirts in plaids (just make sure it's structured like the one shown below), simple v-neck sweaters with golden screen print, dress pants in straight-leg styles (instead of boring office flare, or super-skinny rocker). The key is to find a balance. Wear a pencil skirt with a crazy rocker shirt and some structured shoes. Trenchcoats and peacoats are chic. Don't cross out the ideas of stereotypically "preppy" basics just because of that stereotype. They play an important role in your wardrobe, and not only let you mix up your fashion, but show others that you care about your appearance (which is respectful to others, to respect yourself). skinny jeans are very cute. They don't look great on everyone. I cant wear them i don't have the legs. but if you do i would pick up a pair see how you like them. get tank tops and t-shirts that can be layered but wont make you look too young or very bunchy.
