I am looking for legal advice in Ontario Canada. Maybe a website or a free consultation. I was struck by a pick up truck when I was crossing the street.

Well I am not too sure what you are trying to get at here, but are you meaning how much money you should get from the incident. It will not be much depending on how bad you were injured and the effects it caused after.

Doctors try to avoid these types of things because they do not want to get caught up in them sadly. I would go see a lawyer about it and try doctors. As for the insurance company you have to be bold and do not take the first offer they give you because it will be a bull sh!t offer. Sit down and think of what pain and suffering you went through. The effects that happened to you after it, and write them down and argue them. Example my leg is still hurting and aching from it.

I would do all you can before settling and if you go to a lawyer and doctor and they have done all they can to help and you have argued and argued with the insurance company and they say that what they are giving you is their final offer then take it. Unless it is worth going to court over meaning you will not loose more then you will gain. Aslo go to one of those free lawyer I am not sure what they are called but they will sit down and go through it with you and give you advice.

i'm from ont. I would call one of these free legal advice phone numbers in the phone book...There is a number in there where a lawyer will answer your questions over the phone for free,,would do this pronto,,if you can not find phone number,,I would go to your local court house and speak with duty council there,, these lawyers are free and did so in a domestic matter,,,just go to court house and look for duty council....whom ever is on duty there will answer your questions. good -luck...
