Are you easily pursuaded?
Of course it does! If you only bought things you really NEEDED, you wouldn't have much "stuff" at all.
Do you need a Biggie Size? No, you don't, but advertising made it look like you were getting a better value.
If there was no advertising, well....that's a big long discussion.
Do they "just want your money"? No, I don't think so. They pursuafe you that you DO NEED their product! They don't pursuade you that you need to spend money with the advertiser!

Not really. In my case, ads just remind me that something exists. I wouldn't buy anything unless I tried it and liked it. I think marketing persuades people to buy things they don't need. For instance, how many times do we go shopping with a list to a store e.g publix or Wal-mart, then end up buying chocolate that we didn't need, or some cologne or new body wash? It's the way they arrange the items to entice us. It's the way the market the chocolate to us.....
Ever wonder why, chocolate bars are always placed o the aisle at check-out? That's a form of marketing to seduce and entice you by making you salivate while waiting to pay for your items.
