Yes, the younger they are then yopu should charge more but the older they are, you should charge less.

I babysit, and it does depend on the age, and the amount of kids. For a baby under a 10monts:8$/hour. But if the child is older, you dont need to up the rate, because they are alot easier to handle. For a baby, you need to feed it, change it, care for it, play with it ect....
Here are my ratings:
1-2 kids: 5$/hour
3-4 kids: 6$/hour
5 and over: 8$/hour

You should make a bunch of cash, cuz i sure did.

No, I do believe it's by the pound, depending on the weight of the child. The heavier the kid, the less you charge, giving the parent's a price break.
