the thing that my husband did that made me feel most loved was that he chose me over giving up his life by stopping his kidney dialysis. Two years ago my husband was living over 600 miles away from me and we were not married, he was facing going back on dialysis for the fourth time in 20 years and was going to give up and die at hospice, instead of doing that he decided to spend his life with me and he is now on dialysis 3 times a week for four hours and is now facing not being able to be on the donor list which means that just for me he will be on dialysis possibly for the rest of his life. Now that is love if you ask me. My man cooks for me and treats me like a princess and I know most days he feels like crap but he does it anyway. Claire

I have been sick for 2 yrs with a mass and my side and I can see the love and terror in his eyes every time we see the doctor and the relief each 3 months that they say it is benign. Then the anger on the 1 1/2 hour drive home when they tell us its not big enough to take out but its big enough to keep me and constant pain, he gripes all the way home. He never complains about the 2 jobs he has because I can not nurse anymore and makes sure everyday he talks to me at lunch and before and after each job for at least an hour,we laugh and laugh together. His eyes when we talk say it all.

I don't know how my wife would respond to this, but I try as hard as I can every day to put her and her feelings before my own.

Now as far as what my wife has done to make me feel most loved. In Oct. of 2002, I was in a rollover accident, seriously hurt my neck and back. I wasn't able to work for over a year because of it. But shortly after I came home, the accident was out of town. I couldn't sit up in bed or even get out of bed for a few weeks without her helping me to sit up and then help pull me up to standing. It sucked, because I felt so useless. But through the whole time she was there for me, she didn't complain, she just showed me noting but love and compassion. That has stuck with me and is something that I'll never forget.

I had to go to Seattle on a business trip a few weeks ago, there was a huge storm here and all of the electricity went out. In like the whole town! I was alone in a new city so I was a little freaked because it was freezing out here and no heat! My boyfriend drove up here from oakland california to be with me while my power was out. He brought supplies and wood for the fireplace, and extra blankets. We camped out in the living room and it was awesome I felt so special! And 6 days later when the power came back on he had to go home but that visit will last me till i get to see him again next month!

Little things help with me. Leave me little love notes on my bathroom mirror. Rub my shoulders or feet for no reason. Help me with laundry. Its the little details that let me know how much I'm loved.

My husband did not do any of these. He is nearly a wasband.

my husband makes me feel more loved every day. His love is never ending. but, the most special thing he's ever done that made me feel loved even more is when HE ACCEPTS me for the way that i am. There's nothing more special than a man who accepts you regardless of your flaws & imperfections.

I am lucky =)

Got up extra early on a morning when I had to be at the hospital before 7 a.m. Made me coffee, warmed my car and packed me a lunch. When I got home, he had dinner on the stove.

he kisses me on my head when he thinks I am asleep, and whispers 'I love you' and 'you're a wonderful mummy'. i have caught him a few times but I don't let on I know because I don't want to spoil it. I also find him just staring at me sometimes and when I ask whats up he says 'you're just so beautiful' as soon as he walks in every evening I can see the look of relief on his face to see me, he squeezes me up tight and says 'I missed you so much today' all these tiny little things show me how much he loves me.
