I'm not talking about Y!A specifically, but on some of the forums I go to like battleforums and narutofan liberals are like 99%.

Probably because people on the Internet are typically younger than the population at large. This is especially true for forums like YA or Naruto.
Young people tend to be disproportionately liberal. Since most of the places you go on the Internet are geared towards younger people, you will find more liberals there.

Actually the number of neoconservatives is much higher in the politics section of Y/A than are out there in real life......As for your question in general, liberals are much more computer savoy and understand how the Internet can be best used to change hearts and minds.

Uh, there are about an equal number of liberals and conservatives. It's the independents that decide the elections. Look at the two recent elections. Both were very close.
If you can't handle the liberal conversations on certain web forums, than you should follow the old saying:
"If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen".

I guess they like to reach out to others. They actually want to know people of varying backgrounds and cultures. Many conservatives remind me more of the Stepford Wives. They seem uncomfortable in unfamiliar surroundings. I could be wrong though.

According to the polls there are more DEMOCRATS than anything in the U.S.
Although a lot of people in this rat race only think they're democrats because they don't support the Iraq war.
I'm a democrat who supports the Iraq war.

Partly because Republicans/Conservatives feel that anyone that is not a Republican/Conservative is a "liberal". That is simply not true.
