Amoxacillin is not an allergy medicine it is an antibiotic, and it can reduce the effectiveness of the pill.
For the very first month of using the pill you should continue to use another form of birth control, and when you use antibiotics until you start the next cycle of pills

Regular allergy medicine won't affect it but amoxacillin is an antibotic and that WILL AFFECT IT. Please be extra safe. Call you doctor because even after you stop taking it-It might take some extra time to start working 100% again for you.
