Are you kidding me it's gotta be Bryant Gumbel of the NFL Network. I only fell asleep 4 times the last time he called a game.
But seriously, I would say it's Al Michaels. I think at times Al can show he roots for the big timers like the Pats, Colts, or a team like the Saints this year. But I think most of the time he is very unbiased and very enthusiastic when something big happens.
I think the top 2 are Michaels and Aikman, close...

i think is quickly becoming the best analyst. some of his analysis is incredible and he know just about every player and their position by heart. i used to be really into madden but i think troy has surpassed him. btw, remember there is the play by play guy (the al michaels, joe buck, brent mussberger's of the world) and the analysis (the troy's, the madden's, the moose johnson's of the world) and they have very different and distinct duties within the booth. troy is the best analyist and michael's, for the "do you believe in miracles" line alone, is the best play by play guy.

i think he is now that madden is past is prime. he gives very unbiased opinions about a wide range of football related topics. not to mention the fact that he is a 3 time super bowl winning hall of fame quarterback so he actually knows what he is talking about unlike a lot of analyst that have no real experience

nah but people have to give that man a break...he has good insight and knows what he is talking about even though he can be boring sometime he doesnt have that fire that michael irving has or chris berman but he knows his $hit.

I think Al Michaels is the best. He has great enthusiasm, talent, and great voice.
