Congratulations!!

How about writing it on the bathroom mirror with your finger so when he gets out of the shower and its steamed up he sees it?
You then have the joy of seeing him running out of the bathroom naked!

Or perhaps you could try leaving clues around the house (booties, invitations etc. as others have suggested).

Or take a photo of him and instead of asking him to say 'cheese', ask him to say 'we're having a baby' and then you can also capture the look on his face for posterity!

Oooh How exciting!

Well done you!

I always ask my fiancee for jewelery, but he can never pick it out on his own, I told him that I went to the store and bought myself a bracelet. ( The box was perfect for the pregnancy test) I didnt really buy myself anything, but I tricked him and said "Oh honey look at my new bracelet" and he saw the positive test, I got the digital one cause I wasnt sure if the lines would register in his head. lol. I took a test before but the digital readout only stays for a few minutes. So I took a second one to put in the box! It was fun!

You could make him an invitation and present it to him. The invitation would state something like -

Event: To celebrate the creation of a new life.
Date:
Place:
Expected arrival:

Fill in the details, add a few heartfelt words that express your elation.

If it was me I might say - May our child be blessed with the best of both of us, May our combined wisdom be our guide and may our child be one with the music of the universe.

Try as hard it as it may seem to play it cool and the moment may just come to you depending on the circumstances such as over dinner or watching a television show.

First of all congratulations... but are you sure posting this on a website is the best route? Just tell him with the most honest feeling in your heart, and remember, if he seems more scared than happy, its not a bad thing... he still is overjoyed, it's just a huge step in your life...

tell him something relating to something he likes, if he's a football fan, paint a picture of taking his kid to a match, or playing with a ball down the park...

good luck..

Put the pos. pregnancy test in a box and tell him you have a gift for him or just put it on his pillow so he will see it when he goes to bed. Or you can get a bib with a slogan for him and give it to him. Good luck!!! Congratulations!!!!

My husband use to tell me he wasn't ready to share me with any one, when I wanted to get pregnant. When I finally did get pregnant, I took the test while hubby wasn't home. When he got home I asked him if he was ready to share me yet, and he said, "are you pregnant?" I showed him the test and told him to tell me what he saw. He said, "Two pink lines." And I said "That means I am pregnant." He was so excited he wanted to go and tell everyone.

Work out your due date, and then send him a save the date card. When he asks why, telling him you have plans for you both that day... welcoming your child into the world!

Congratulations!
