Why is that you cannot break an egg from top to bottom when you hold it between your thumb and forefinger no matter how hard you try

The basic shape of the egg is imperative for the chick growing inside. It is used for protection. This is also so when the hen sits on her eggs they will not break under her weight. The shell is constructed in an oval design so it will not break. It is shaped in an arch, the strongest shape. It is even stronger than the triangle because it has no edges.

I also just saw this incredible claim on Big Brother, and tried squashing an egg top to bottom, between thumb and forefinger. Although surprisingly difficult, I did break one, but my girlfriend could not. Interestingly, it projects the mess over a phenomenal area sideways. :)

The brisker the egg the greater powerful ... then injury it very gently right into a saucer and use a spoon to hold the yolk in place on a similar time as you pour the white right into a separate container. you are able to truly get implements that seem as though saucers with perforations below the lid, so as which you crack the egg gently into the saucer and you're able to pour the white off on a similar time as conserving the yolk in place.

I don't know. Probably that way the eggs don't get squashed when the chicken sits on them. It's a design thing. But if that's the case, then how come eggs in cartons, which are sitting on their ends, sometimes get crushed, hmmm? It is possible!

its because its an arc shape. said to be the strongest shape which is why bridges are arches and able to hold great weight.
