~I used to suck my thumb when I was little. Until I noticed that my front teeth were becoming "buck" teeth. Then I sat around all day with my thumb pushed up against the front two teeth instead of behind them, and they very shortly straightened back out.
(It just takes a steady applied pressure to straighten teeth.)
