They way I heard it, Prometheus and Epimetheus were Titans who sided with Zeus and the Olympians. But Prometheus evenutally angered Zeus by giving mankind the gift of fire.

Still piqued about the whole fire thing, Zeus had a woman made named Pandora who married Epimetheus and I assume you know the story about she opened a jar and let out all the things that plague mankind to this day.

EDIT: Epimetheus means "hindsight" and Prometheus means "foresight."

Prometheus was intelligent, and Epimetheus was not.

In Greek, Prometheus means forethought, Epimetheus means afterthought or hindsight.

Well, Epimetheus was the husband of Pandora, the beautiful woman who opened Pandora's Box and released all the evils unt othe world. Prometheus introduced humans to fire and was punished by Zeus for it. He had to by hung on a cliff while crows and birds came to peck and eat his liver. His liver kept growing back after the birds would eat it.
