OK. so I know him because i used to be friends with his sister and he didn't talk to me much then, but at the beginning of the year he would come around me every once in a while and mess with my hair a little and talk and joke and stuff like that, which would make me blush. But, for a while now he hasn't really done that much. We don't talk alot and so I know he isn't mad at me. What could this mean?

Sounds like he was trying to help you feel at ease at school, but now that the year has progressed, he most likely has other things to concentrate on. However, if you truly believe he liked you and that was the reason he came around, test the waters and go around him and reciprocate the behavior. See what kind of response you get. Please do not make a nuisance of yourself, because that tends to drive people away.

Based on what you said it seems that he may have had some interest in you, but it appears to have passed. Maybe because he has other interests or maybe because he didn't know thatthe interest was mutual. This is why it is always best to put all of your cards on the table so that you won't ever have to wonder if theyr knew you had an interest. But hey you only live once, seek him out this time. If he really did like you then it will feel great to have you approach him that way. And if that is the case most likely he will jump at the chance to spend more time.

Yes, there is a high probability that he still does if he would do that stuff only a few months ago. He probably just feels strange now doing it so he doesn't. If you like him then show that you do by doing similar things.

I really don't know all the details, but I went through something similar, does he come around you and act as if he doesn't see you if so then he has lost interest.
