Thierry Henry is certainly the best footballer in the world at the moment.
For prime example, he was supposedly not having a good game today, yep he nutmegged Fro Ferdinand for Van Persie goal and then scored a bullet header himself..
He is just such a wonderful player to watch, his pace, speed, technique, footballing ability just make him a joy to watch.

i'm an arsenal fan : thierry is great but the greatest on the planet i'm not so sure . how do you define the greatest player ? i heard on sky today that alex ferguson reckons his ronaldo will be in the next year or so,personally i dont think he's anywhere near as good as thierry , i think robin van persie has the potential to be one of the best , we could go on all night and name loads of players but as i said at the start how do we define the greatest.

I don't agree with you
3 years ago, easily, he was the best, its a terrible shame that it wasn't recognised back then, but he's not the player he used to be (and yes, I'm a gooner, and yes, I'm a season ticket holder too).
Best player in the world right now, for me, Petr Cech. Best outfield player, probably still Little Roni.

At the moment he is the best player in the world; better than Ronaldinho, Messi and Ronaldo. His touch and balance are stunning and he is a joy to watch.
